Yoko doesn’t stop at “Sofitel”!

Yoko is steadily emerging as one of the most promising faces of Morning Glory, the label founded by DJ Bellek. Hailing from Sarcelles — the historic home of Secteur Ä — the artist joins a fast-growing roster alongside Decimo, Bag Jeune B, , and Favé. Blending authenticity with precision, Yoko keeps refining his pen with each new release. After the third installment of his “Sativa” series, he’s back with “Sofitel” — a raw, street-inspired track that feels both lived and true.

Yoko doesn’t stop at “Sofitel”!

As often, production duties go to the duo DJ Bellek and Heerbeats, a cornerstone partnership within the label. Together, they’ve already crafted “Sativa 3” for Yoko, as well as “Ben Wallace” by Bag Jeune B, “Freestyle Signature” by , and “Européenne” by Decimo. This time, the beat is stripped-down yet razor-sharp — a dark, rhythmic foundation where Yoko lays down verses shaped by hardship, reflection, and the raw poetry of real life.

Staying true to his visual identity, Yoko returns to the familiar streets of Sarcelles. The video — a heartfelt tribute to Secteur Ä — reaffirms his deep connection to the local scene and his roots. Directed by Le Clown, a longtime collaborator behind visuals such as “Sativa 3”, “Comme d’habitude”, “Jamel”, and “Sativa 2”, the clip mixes restraint and intensity, capturing Yoko’s raw energy at the heart of his city.

No excess here — between gritty realism and urban cinematography, Yoko continues to carve his path with purpose. Each track feels like another piece of a bigger puzzle: that of an artist grounded in truth, yet looking firmly toward the future.
