Active in French-language rap media for more than fifteen years, he contributed to Rapunchline and later worked with Vice France and France Maghreb. He founded Hellsinky in 2018 and leads UrbanTrackz, developing stories across music, documentary cinema, urban culture and social memory.
Tonio Writer is a columnist and observer of hip-hop culture. His work focuses on its places, participants and transmission. His work for Cultures Urbaines is notably documented through a 2015 interview about the birth of French hip-hop referenced by publisher Le Mot et le Reste.
