La Rvfleuze takes a major step forward with the release of his debut project “Numéro d’écrou”, a body of work featuring Gazo, Koba LaD, Freeze Corleone, and Hamza. Acting as a true snapshot of the current scene, the project brings together part of the drill elite around one of the last artists still fully committed to an authentic drill / street rap identity. Hailing from the north of Paris, more precisely the 19th arrondissement, the rapper fully embodies the raw energy of the Porte d’Aubervilliers area.
At a time when many artists coming from drill are shifting toward more accessible and less dark sounds, the genre remains deeply rooted in a raw portrayal of gang culture. From its early days with Chief Keef and Lil Durk, to its rise in London with the Harlem Spartans, and its explosion in New York driven by Pop Smoke, drill has established itself as a major movement. Within this context, La Rvfleuze deliberately returns to the core essence of the genre. The visual for “Verisure” perfectly reflects this approach, capturing the tension and raw intensity of drill in its purest form. In it, the 19th arrondissement rapper celebrates the release of his project with undeniable energy.
La Rvfleuze is always“Verisure”!
The track is produced by Sokol & Eliyel. A key figure in shaping La Rvfleuze’s sound, Sokol has already crafted several standout records such as “P.I.B”, “Serrure #5”, “Argent sale”, and “Serrure #667”. Based in Paris, he has also worked with Gazo on “Kat”, and frequently collaborates with Eliyel. Together, they deliver a stripped-down, dark, and highly effective drill production that stays true to the genre’s core codes.
La Rvfleuze delivers a raw narrative shaped by street life and incarceration, using striking imagery, as if he had been “born out of a sewer”:
“I do push-ups in the yard (yard), four walls, three laps,”
“I’m not in the locker room anymore, I was locked up, now I’m out packaged (now I’m out packaged)
I stack chips, it’s only for investing (only for investing)”
The visual, raw and intensely energetic, is directed by Baeby Mama, a filmmaker already well established within the French rap scene. He has notably worked with Niro on “Assimilé”, as well as Guy2Bezbar, Jolagreen23, and Green Montana on “Nouvelle R”, and Favé on “Saturday”. La Rvfleuze is already set to perform at the Zénith de Paris on November 10, in what promises to be a defining moment in his rise.
