Alkpote brings the first episode of “High Ones”back to life… after censorship!

Several months ago, the manager of High Ones faced pressure from several European and American companies, aiming to bring an end to its reign. In an intriguing silence, the Emperor and his show withdrew from the spotlight, despite their resounding success at the peak of their glory. After meticulously “reviewing and correcting” every detail to ensure High Ones complied with legal regulations, the show, sponsored by Original Green, is making a triumphant comeback. The premiere, hosted by the legendary Alkpote, has just been released.

For this inaugural episode, the guest is nothing short of extraordinary: Roi Heenok. This moment marks the reunion of two of the most unique and original figures in Francophone rap. With an unconventional career filled with unexpected collaborations and sharp provocations, who better than Alkpote to embody a show dedicated to the “culture” of cannabis? And all this, while the French government is stepping up its efforts to combat drug trafficking.

While in some countries, or certain U.S. states, cannabis is legalized, the situation in France is vastly different. In 2017, 39% of 17-year-olds had experimented with cannabis, compared to 48% in 2014, reflecting a significant decline. However, other concerns are rising: within the same age group, cocaine use has skyrocketed, sparking serious worries.

The brand Original Green, specializing in the sale of legal CBD in France, is the official sponsor of the show. The concept of the interview is straightforward yet impactful: testing Original Green products while answering the Emperor’s incisive questions.

In the show’s teaser, Roi Heenok made a striking statement about the legalization of cannabis:

“If they share the money with the youth who brought the culture, those who ended up incarcerated and saw their belongings seized, like BMWs, M2s, M3s, or Mercedes AMGs, then I salute them… But if they DON’T share with the ‘inmates,’ the real ones, and the genuine things rooted in their wardrobes, that’s another story.”
