Sidiki Diabaté is a renowned Malian artist celebrated for his mastery of the kora, a skill inherited from his father, Toumani Diabaté, and his grandfather, Sidiki Diabaté. From a young age, he immersed himself in music, also learning to play the piano and guitar.
The artist comes from a long lineage of griots. In 2014, he released the album Toumani & Sidiki with his father, showcasing their virtuosity. The album was a great success and established Sidiki as a prominent figure in Malian music.
In Europe, Sidiki gained recognition through his contribution to Booba’s hit single DKR—the rapper’s most successful track—and the Lamomali project by Matthieu Chedid (known as -M-), alongside Fatoumata Diawara. These collaborations opened doors to numerous live performances, allowing him to refine his craft for future solo shows.
His albums Béni and Kora Lover brought him international success, winning fans across the globe and attracting renowned artists to join him on stage.
