Zé is an artist hailing from Sarcelles and Melun. A few months ago, he officially signed with the Morning Glory label, marking his arrival with a “freestyle signature” recorded inside the label’s own studios. He thus joins a solid and ambitious roster, led by DJ Bellek, bringing together a number of promising young talents such as Bag Jeune B, Favé, Yoko, also from Sarcelles, and Decimo.
Step by step, the artist is building his musical calling card through a steady run of singles. Recently, he released the track “Chardonnay”, followed shortly after by the visual for “Conséquences”, a striking immersion into his world—both personal and uncompromising.

The instrumental production is handled by a quartet of producers made up of DJ Bellek, Heerbeats, Skyz On Da Track, and Sm!le. While it’s not always the case, the founder of Morning Glory does not hesitate to get directly involved in composing his artists’ productions. For this track, he teamed up with Heerbeats, already behind songs for Favé and ZKR, as well as “FTR” and “Gulfstream” by Werenoi. Belgian producer Skyz On Da Track, widely recognized in the scene, has also collaborated extensively with ZKR and Favé.
The track, highly rhythmic, is driven by a constant energy, punctuated by subtle guitar arpeggios that heighten its power and tension. On this song, Zé reflects on his street upbringing while also addressing his journey as an artist:

Les galères dans la ville, on a trop prié
J’ai trop traîné, j’dois ramener le trophée”
The visual, directed by Kespey, follows the rapper from Sarcelles to the Morning Glory studios, notably passing through the Garges-Sarcelles RER. The director had previously helmed
the video for “Chardonnay” by Zé. Active for several years now, Kespey continues to rack up visuals and notably made his mark with the Paris-based clip for Jul, “Tu Tenenew”.
