Yvnnis, hailing from Fontenay-sous-Bois (94), is establishing himself as one of the rising voices of French rap. Known for his ability to switch effortlessly between melodic flights and sharp, incisive verses, he showcases a rare versatility. Most recently, he teamed up with JRK 19. Fresh out, JRK had already made waves with Freeze Corleone on the track “112”. Together, they now unveil the bold and unapologetic “Break”, backed by an inventive production and a striking music video.

The production of this unique track comes from eest.id, Lilchick, and LucasG. The latter had already made a name for himself alongside Bekar on “400 Pas”. Meanwhile, eest.id has produced for Gunna (“Podcast”) and is also credited on “Animals” by Eminem. As for Lilchick, a loyal collaborator of Yvnnis since day one, he continues to shape the rapper’s sonic identity. The result is a production that feels fresh, unhinged, and completely unexpected.

While JRK 19 had opted for drill in his collab with Freeze Corleone, here he ventures into a sound much less common in the French scene. Riding this unusual tempo, the two rappers deliver a raw, hard-hitting egotrip:

“Tell me who’s acting dumb, on my mother I’ll aim for his head
I see red like a bull, vision locked on the turret”

For his part, Yvnnis drops a line as vivid as it is cinematic:

“I’m woken up by a hostess pouring me a drink (pouring me a drink)
I take off from CDG, land at JFK (yeah, that’s right)”

The video, blending live performance shots with anime-inspired visuals, was crafted by the duo Jules Harbulot and Pedro Summer. Harbulot, who previously directed “Coup d’un soir” by Roshi, teams up with Summer here to deliver a polished, ambitious production that perfectly matches the track’s energy.
