On a la meilleure, pour ça qu’ils copient, les autres (rah), j’m’en bats les couilles d’être disque d’or (ouais, ouais, ouais).
Last year, during an appearance on Le Code, JRK 19 reflected on his beginnings. At just 16, he was already dropping freestyles in his neighborhood before stepping into the studio to record the first episode of Avenue Porte Brunet. That freestyle—now boasting over 4.4 million views on YouTube—was the turning point. It was the audience’s reaction that made him realize this debut effort had something truly special.
Freshly released, the single 112 continues this rise, with the dark presence of
Freeze Corleone looming large.
JRK 19 and Freeze Corleone raise the alarm with 112
The production is handled by five beatmakers: Laskrt, Harrison, Chvpo, Oliver Zoega, and SHK.
Chvpo, co-founder of the Narcos collective, has already made his mark on Koba LaD’s Freestyle BMF and Damso’s Ipséité, frequently collaborating with Freeze Corleone.
Harrison Dock, known for Bolide noir by Central Cee, also worked with JRK 19 (*0.9*, *Intro*) and Maes.
Laskrt produced Le plan, while the unexpected addition of Oliver Zoega, a multi-platinum Danish producer, adds an international touch.
The result: an ominous beat, driven by a haunting violin sample and a pounding, militaristic rhythm.
JRK 19 delivers a hard-hitting verse:
J’suis venu pétarder, pas pour discuter (sale)
Et même si t’aimes pas, toi, tu baises tes morts
Tu testes, t’es mort, la balle dans les bes-jam (gang)
Bah ouais, c’était moi.
Then Freeze Corleone steps in with his unmistakable delivery:
Chaque jour, j’fume le carburant des fusées,
J’ai des seizes qui devraient être dans des musées (au Louvre, han).
The visuals, directed by Bien Vu Prod, place the two rappers in a sinister mansion, surrounded by their crews. The imagery alternates between dark atmospheres, subliminal flashes, and infrared-style shots (isohélie).
Known for their striking visuals, Bien Vu Prod has already collaborated with Georgio and Ben PLG on
Colorier des HLM, as well as with Kerchak and Ziak on T’aimerais.
