Yoko unveils the first chapter of “95 degrés”!

After officially signing with Morning Glory in DJ Bellek’s studio during a standout freestyle session, Yoko kept the momentum going with a string of singles that solidified his artistic identity. The artist, originally from Sarcelles, has built a reputation for sharp storytelling and cutting punchlines, delivered with a pen that never relies on unnecessary embellishment.

In his single “Jamel”, the 95-based rapper portrays the final hours of a neighborhood kid — a fate as ordinary as it is tragic, mirroring a reality too often pushed into the background. In his new video “95 degrés” — here revealing its first part, freshly released on YouTubeYoko dives deeper into this fatalistic universe, staging the execution of a character and hinting at a sequel that promises to expand the story’s narrative scope.

Yoko unveils the first chapter of “95 degrés”!

The track’s production is handled by Elmaa and KLUD. Known for his work with Saïf — including “La Bohème” and “L’Avalanche II”Elmaa continues to support emerging talent. The instrumental opens with a whispered sample, “Maman, fais-moi confiance”, setting an emotional tone before Yoko dives into a dark, vengeful egotrip delivered with striking control:

“I think about it every night /
When I’m dead /
I won’t have time to run away /
And now I’m in the sound like Drake

To bring this chilling narrative to life, the visual was entrusted to Le Clown. Familiar with collaborating alongside Waiv but above all a long-time creative partner of Yoko, the director once again elevates the rapper’s universe — just as he did on “Sofiel”, “Sativa 3”, “Comme d’habitude” and “Jamel”. The result: a cold, almost clinical staging that intensifies the emotional impact of the track.
