Born in 1998 in Ixelles, Belgium, Veda is a rising Belgian-Congolese artist passionate about pop/R&B with marked influences from Afro and new jazz. Since the age of 14, she has been honing her craft under the guidance of Jean-Louis Daulne at the academy, developing a unique style that blends these diverse influences with the French music scene. As a singer-songwriter, she carves her artistic path, currently preparing for an ambitious EP scheduled for release in the summer of 2024.
Veda’s music, heavily influenced by artists such as Damso, Angèle, and Hamza, has already captivated listeners with three singles. The release of these singles has garnered media attention, particularly with press articles highlighting her track “Tout Doux.” Additionally, Veda is set to perform at several Belgian festivals this summer, further solidifying her ascent.
