Between 2025 and 2026, Leto showcased the full range of his artistry by releasing two major projects back-to-back: “Life” and “Thug Ceremony”. With “Life”, Leto, former member of PSO Thug, embraced a more open artistic direction, delivering tracks less centered on trap and drill than usual. Driven by this creative shift, the project moved close to 5,000 units in its first week—solid numbers, though slightly below expectations given his “Trap$tar” status. Aware of his audience’s expectations, he returned in 2026 with “Thug Ceremony”, a darker and more street-oriented project, reconnecting with the core of his identity.
Leto now continues this momentum with “Pineapple”, a track conceived as a summer interlude, moving away from his usual themes. Far from street tensions, the song embraces a sunny atmosphere, reinforced by visuals shot under bright skies, marking the start of his summer run.

The production is handled by Raedwav (formerly Raed) and Scvlra, two long-time collaborators closely tied to Leto’s sound and affiliated with Winterfel. They have crafted many standout tracks in his catalog, including “God Bless”, “Mathématique”, “Rodéo Drive”, and more recently “Sentiment Billet de cent”. With “Pineapple”, they deliver a vibrant, upbeat production built for summer. For the duration of the track, Leto steps away from street codes to embrace a more laid-back vibe:
“It was my dream to see her naked, but once I hit, I forgot her quickly
The way she arches, it’s crazy”
The video is directed by Kenzy Ammelal, whose signature style lies in shooting exclusively on an iPhone. Having previously worked with Leto on “Titanic”, the director—originally from Belleville—once again delivers his distinctive visual approach. He also gained recognition for a short film about his neighborhood and contributed to the presentation film for “Top Boy : Tome 1” by RK.
