Krypys Music Redefines Music Production Standards with Innovative Label

Krypys Music, born Christopher Pistol, has just released a captivating track titled “Ephemeral”, taken from his EP “Velleity”. This Caribbean artist embodies the very essence of musical passion, ignited from a young age. His unique journey begins in the 2000s, in the town of Gosier, Guadeloupe, where Reggae/Dancehall resonates strongly among the youth, accustomed to sound systems.

It was in 2005 that this pivotal moment inspired Krypys Music to pen his first lyrics. Self-taught, he delves into music production with invaluable support from his father, a guitarist, and his uncle, a Deejaying enthusiast, using recycled materials.

Throughout his journey, the artist discovers French Rap and is drawn to its melancholic melodies. He also joins the group Gosier Tush, formed by Yaboy Yk, where he contributes to forming the Quadruplé. In 2007 and 2008, he performs his first gigs in front of larger audiences.

In 2009, with some members departing for mainland France, Gosier Tush dissolves. It’s at this crucial moment that Krypys Music meets Skindark, who guides him towards innovation, research, and personal development.

The years leading up to his departure for the mainland, and upon his arrival in Val-de-Marne in 2011, see Krypys Music delve into engineering, juggling composition, recording, sound engineering, handling, and voice balancing at events.

A perfectionist with many hats, constantly questioning his artistic abilities, Krypys Music faces a dilemma: to be an artist or an audiovisual engineer. To solve this complex equation, he boldly decides to launch his label. The goal is clear: to broaden artistic horizons and guide independent artists by helping them reduce production costs through micro-services.
