JKSN, hailing from Livry-Gargan in the 93 (Seine-Saint-Denis), is one of the freshest rising voices on the French rap scene. Signed to the prestigious Def Jam Island, he stands out with raw lyricism and unapologetic energy. A few months ago, he launched his freestyle series “Génération Foirée”, a true manifesto for his generation. Today, he unveils the third installment, further solidifying his fast-growing momentum with listeners.
JKSN proudly claims the identity of the 2000s generation, a theme he calls out in many of his tracks: “A 2000 kid straight outta nowhere / Kinda like Mike Olise / Hitting hard like a punch that lands”.
JKSN drops the third episode of “Génération Foirée”!
The beat on this new chapter is produced by 2K and Goncho. A former member of Double X, 2K recently teamed up with Niro on “Pourquoi tu m’aimes ?”, taken from his latest album. Together with Goncho, he also crafted the second episode of “Génération Foirée”. Once again, the production leans on a haunting piano melody, as JKSN paints vivid snapshots of street hustlers’ lives, blending sharp realism with an ego-driven flair.
“I pulled up with all the RS / She thinks I’m sponsored / ‘Can I take a pic for my son?’ / Says the cop in the undercover”
To complete this third chapter, the visual directed by Djo Réa captures the tension between street hardships and the lure of luxury living. A long-time collaborator of JKSN, he also helmed the first two episodes of “Génération Foirée” as well as the standout video for “Seine-Saint-Denis”.
