ISK, a standout rapper from the 77 region, continues to leave his mark on the French rap scene. In 2024, he released an ambitious double project: Hannibal Part 1 & 2. According to Music Metrics Vault, Part 1 had already reached nearly 623,608 monthly listeners on Spotify as of April 29, 2025 — a testament to his consistent popularity.

First brought to light through his freestyle series Vérité, ISK has enjoyed underground acclaim from the start. Despite his young age, he quickly stood out with sharp lyricism and powerful delivery, notably during his appearances on the Acharné freestyles via Daymolition. Known for his precision and intensity, he embodies raw energy without ever falling into outdated formulas.

ISK remains fully independent under his own label, Bendo 11 Records, which is affiliated with Grand Line Records. In an interview with Midi/Minuit, he spoke candidly about the challenges and freedom that come with independence:

“You’re right — we’re completely independent. To sum it up, being independent means more work, more responsibility, and more people to manage. But it’s worth it, because it gives us more freedom. My team and I listen to each other, we trust each other — we’ve known one another for a long time. I’ve had the same team since day one, since my very first video, and it still works great.”

He is currently gearing up for the highly anticipated release of Hannibal CD 1, led by an explosive first single: 8426City, where ISK once again showcases his lyrical sharpness and technical finesse.

The beat is produced by Neits, a longtime collaborator of ISK. He’s also behind several standout tracks like Brav-M, N’aie pas peur, and À long terme. He notably produced Freestyle Impact #2, featured on Hannibal Part 2.

The instrumental — both stripped down and hard-hitting — is built to highlight ISK’s punchy flow. In contrast, Saïf brings a calmer, more composed delivery that balances the track beautifully:

“I see strange things, my eye twitches, fire in my hand, Mario chasing Donkey Kong (For real)
I do wrong hoping for right, feels like my life’s an antithesis
I’m from where it’s dark, where it’s grimy, the one who’s with you is the one who’ll f*** you”

The visuals match the street-level intensity of the track. Directed by Kespey, the clip carries his signature urban aesthetic. He previously shot the joint video with La Plaie, Fresh La Douille, and ISK. Kespey also regularly works with Bouss, and directed the visual for Jul’s track Un jour, je l’aurai.
