Intouchable makes a major comeback in 2025, reuniting Dry and Demon One. The group, pillars of the French rap golden era, emerged from the legendary Mafia K’1 Fry collective, deeply rooted in the “golden triangle” of Orly, Choisy, and Vitry. They’re best remembered for their standout feature on the track “Hold Up” from the classic “Les Princes de la ville” by 113, and for the iconic anthem “Pour ceux”, which brought together the entire Rohff entourage. Rohff would later pay tribute by sampling parts of that track in “Je viens de là”, from his project “Mon école”, where Dry and Demon One are also featured.
Following “Sauvage” and “Number One”, Intouchable returns in full force with “La Relève 2”. Why the “2”? Because the original “La Relève” was a collaboration with Sales Mômes, a group co-founded by a then 12-year-old Soso Maness and Béné. Now, Soso Maness comes full circle, reconnecting with the mentors who helped launch his career in French rap.
Intouchable and Soso Maness reunite — 20 years after the first “La Relève”!
The beat is crafted by renowned French producer Stef Becker, a key figure in the scene for over a decade. His recent credits include Jul’s “Limitless” and contributions to the massive “13’Organisé” collective. He’s also produced standout tracks for SCH such as “Assoces”, “Fantôm”, and “Blanc Bleu”.
Soso Maness delivers once again with his ability to switch between rap and melody with flawless technique. The beat is sharp, pounding, and tailor-made for all three MCs to shine. Demon One brings his unmistakable flow — slightly evasive, but sharply on point — blending seamlessly into the production’s intensity.
Reflecting on his very first feature on “La Relève 1”, Soso Maness shares these emotional bars:
“9.4 400 13014
I was the next up, and I kept my promise
You recognized the accent and the harsh past
We pinged your Porsche and bit your address
VR6…”
Demon One and Dry stick to their roots — raw, real, and powerful:
“From lowlifes to gangsters, they all shake my hand
They push a few grams and think they’re Corleone
Intouchable, Soso Maness — this is real rap for real men”
And again:
“Too many ‘Thomys’ act like Tonys, get hit in the dome
What do they really know, except stories from my zone?
We live by roulette rules — like the casino”
The music video, shot at the foot of the high-rises with locals and artists alike, was directed by Écran de Fumée. Known for his gritty, immersive style, he previously worked with JRK19 and La Mano 1.9 on “Le plan”, with Jarod on “Termine 2023”, and with Kolo la R and Sadek on “Raisonne-moi”.
