HMZ is making a spectacular comeback. Since 2024, the charismatic rapper from Saint-Ouen has been quietly revolutionizing the music scene. In just four months, he has expanded his discography with hard-hitting tracks, releasing a new hit each month. Among these standout creations are must-hear tracks like *Pas fiable*, *Conquistador*, *L’homme qui frappe à la porte II*, and today’s *Pour nos ennemis*, featuring the illustrious Lacrim. With *L’homme qui frappe à la porte II*, HMZ pays tribute to his Moroccan roots. As for *Pour nos ennemis*, he reconnects with the essence of gangsta rap, joined by none other than the undisputed master of the genre in France: Lacrim.

The instrumental production of this powerful track is crafted by Mehsah, a renowned beatmaker who has already made a name for himself through his collaborations with the rapper Lacraps, one of the few independent artists to break through in the industry. Now, Mehsah is also lending his expertise to artists such as PLK on tracks like *À la base* and *3 en 1*, as well as to Jul on *Postiché* and *Loi de la calle*. True to his minimalist yet impactful style, he delivers a beat designed to make the rappers’ voices shine.

On this *classic* instrumental, HMZ and Lacrim excel, each in their own distinctive style. Their sharp, meticulously delivered flows showcase the extent of their mastery. Lacrim blesses us with unforgettable punchlines, including: “I met a cat, he told me: you’ve died ten times, damn, how many lives do you have?” or “Not like Mohamed Merah, I don’t shoot at passersby.” As for HMZ, he remains true to his rap & street repertoire, which he has been honing since the beginning of 2024.

The music video, beautifully scripted, casts HMZ as the lead actor, with the story culminating in his character being imprisoned. Between the verses of the two rappers, a subtle drama unfolds. Directed by Black Anouar and produced by Digital Nak, the visual follows the cinematic style that the director, known for his work on the series Or Noir on M6, is so fond of. The result: a sleek, aesthetically pleasing video that resonates strongly with audiences and is currently trending at number four on YouTube.
