Favé and R2 are “Comme avant”!

In 2025, Favé further solidifies his status with the release of “Pleins Phares”, a project driven by collaborations with Timar, Genezio, Jolagreen23 and SDM. In its first week, the project moved close to 4,000 units. A figure that should be put into perspective when compared to “Il le fallait”, his previous release in 2023, which came close to 10,000 units over the same period. Beyond raw numbers, however, Favé embodies a new-generation consumption model, where impact is measured over time through streaming performance and viral reach. In that sense, the apparent drop in sales is hardly “relevant”.

Signed to Morning Glory, the label founded by Bellek under license with Believe, the rapper operates within a structure fully committed to youth and artistic renewal. This vision is reflected in a roster of promising emerging talents such as Bag Jeune B, Yoko, and Decimo.

Within this momentum, and with what appears to be a new project already in the works, Favé unveils the visual for “Comme avant”, alongside R2—a summer-ready single designed to capture the energy of the season.

On the production side, Bellek and Lusoneo deliver a track that stays true to their signature sound. As key figures within the Morning Glory ecosystem, the duo consistently works with the label’s artists while expanding beyond its core roster. They are notably behind tracks such as “Alabama Barker” and “Tout donner” for Favé, as well as “Oumar” by Decimo and “Smarties”. Here, the production leans on a subtly baile funk-inspired rhythm, injecting the track with a vibrant, sun-drenched energy.

Blending catchy gimmicks with sharp punchlines, Favé and R2 set a festive tone:

“Baby, I’m talking about you, you don’t hear my CDs / Sometimes you gotta put feelings aside”

The visual, directed by Baeby Mama, embraces a polished and immersive aesthetic. Shot in a dreamlike setting—most likely in the south of France—it perfectly extends the track’s atmosphere. Known for her attention to detail, the director has previously collaborated with La Rvfleuze on “Verisure”, as well as with Dinos and Bamby on “Paulin Paulin Paulin”, and Niro on “Assimilé”.
