Ashe 22 and KLM Pursang are “1212”!

On April 25, Ashe 22 will drop the highly anticipated Movie Tape 2, a project already teased with two hard-hitting visuals: “Intro VVV” and “7AR”. A standout figure from the Lyonzon collective, the rapper has established himself as one of the leading voices in the French drill scene.

Following a string of notable collaborations with Freeze Corleone of the 667 crew — including the intense “Scellé” — the duo began working on a joint album titled “Ryiad Sadio”, a nod to their respective roots and artistic chemistry.

Originally born in Chicago and popularized by artists like Chief Keef and Lil Durk, drill is known for its raw sound and unfiltered lyricism. Over time, the genre has expanded to London, New York, and now France, where it continues to evolve with its own distinct identity.

Ashe 22 now unveils the third single from Movie Tape 2, featuring KLM Pursang, a masked and mysterious rapper whose dark, stylized universe aligns closely with that of Lyonzon’s frontman.

The track is produced by Abdellah694, a longtime collaborator of Ashe 22, who also worked on “Splash Pt.4”, “Splash Pt.5”, and “Arah#4” for Lyonzon, as well as “OSS” and “5000L” for Osirus Jack. The production is tense and brooding — perfectly tailored for two artists whose delivery is as sharp as it is gritty.

This track captures the essence of drill: raw, visceral, and unfiltered. Ashe 22 and KLM Pursang spit verses packed with street codes and unapologetic realism:

“J’avais rien à huit heures, à midi j’étais full (Rrah), j’mendors : un calibre sous l’plaide
2.2, KLM dans l’bât’ HLM, du lundi au lundi : détail (Brrr), synthé, végé, écaille, que ça vis-ser le bétail
GHW, il caille, c’est fini la critical, si j’peux pas m’le dicave, j’emploie des techniques radicales”

The video, directed by Piège Studio, stays true to drill’s visual DNA — moody lighting, tense atmospheres, and heavy symbolism. A longtime creative partner of the collective, the production house is behind many iconic visuals from Ashe 22, Lyonzon, and the 667 camp.

Among their credits: “Au-dessus” by DOC OVG 667 and Richie Beats, “7AR” by Ashe 22, and “Moneygram Part.3” by Nahir and Freeze Corleone.
