In 2023, Ashe22 dropped KH-22, a standout project featuring Gazo, Maes, and Baby Gang. The Lyonzon rapper is now making a powerful comeback with the intro to his latest project, Veni – Vidi – Vici (VVV), a track as dark as it is impactful. While some drill fans have expanded their musical horizons, the artist—who collaborated with Freeze Corleone on “Riyad Sadio”—remains deeply loyal to the raw essence of Drill Music.
This introduction seamlessly continues the signature aesthetic that defines his musical universe.
Ashe22 drops the intro to VVV!
The track’s production is handled by Cashmire Beatz. The instrumental, heavy and minimalist, perfectly captures the eerie atmosphere that defines the sound of Lyonzon. Staying true to his signature style, he delivers sharp, cutting punchlines with an egotistical edge:
“His music is trash, moving on, acts tough behind his phone, could die in so many ways”
“Now I’m harvesting, in the middle of the season, no way he’s coming back up, that snitch sleeps with the fishes.”
Visually, the music video stays true to drill aesthetics—shot at the foot of the projects, it highlights the urban environment that shapes Ashe22’s artistic identity. The video was directed by Pièges Studios, a production company that has worked closely with the rapper on most of his visuals. They are behind the clips for KH-22, Caracas, and Splash Pt.4. Their collaboration also extends to Freeze Corleone, for whom they recently directed a video.
