Zeg P and Timar Release “Blood”, Produced by Seezy and Tarik Azzouz

July 26, 2026

Before unveiling his collaborative single with Ninho and Gazo last year, Zeg P appeared as a guest on À la régulière, the radio show hosted by Mehdi Maïzi. During the interview, the France Inter journalist described him as French rap’s very own “hitmaker”—a title that perfectly reflects the influence he has had on shaping the sound of the genre in recent years.

Although Zeg P began his career as an independent producer several years ago, gradually making a name for himself alongside Monsieur Nov, one of the leading voices in French R&B, it was “Fade Up”, featuring Hamza and SCH, that truly propelled him into the spotlight. The track became both a commercial and critical success, to the point where the two rappers briefly considered recording a full collaborative album with the producer. Although the project never materialized, it highlighted Zeg P‘s growing importance within the French music industry.

As he explained on France Inter, his early years were guided by one simple philosophy: “I worked alone.” At times, he even placed productions anonymously in order to gauge the public’s reaction without his reputation influencing listeners’ opinions. The approach perfectly illustrates his artistic standards. Over the years, Zeg P has established himself through remarkable versatility. Whether crafting club records, pop songs, American trap-inspired beats or more experimental productions, he has consistently refused to limit himself to a single sound. That creative freedom has earned him recognition as one of the most influential and decorated producers of his generation.

In 2026, Zeg P returned alongside Timar with “Blood”. Designed as a summer anthem, the track delivers immediate energy without relying on the usual seasonal formulas. Beneath its infectious groove lies the sleek, modern production style that has become Zeg P‘s unmistakable signature.

Zeg P and Timar unleash the scorching summer anthem “Blood”

The song’s production is handled by Zeg P, Seezy and Tarik Azzouz, three of the most sought-after producers in the French-speaking music scene. Zeg P and Seezy had already showcased their chemistry by producing Horizon Vertical in its entirety, the collaborative project from Vald and Heuss L’Enfoiré. Their partnership has continued to flourish ever since, with both producers working together on a regular basis for nearly four years.

Joining them is Tarik Azzouz, an internationally respected producer whose résumé includes collaborations with numerous American artists. Since teaming up with Zeg P, the trio has built an impressive catalog together, including “Toujours plus loin” by Alkpote and Vald, as well as “Jack Honey” by Niaks. Their ability to move effortlessly between musical styles while maintaining a distinct sonic identity has become one of their greatest strengths.

Driven by a fast BPM and blending reggaeton influences with electronic music and club culture, “Blood” stands out thanks to its energetic and meticulously crafted production. Rather than following the well-worn blueprint of conventional summer hits, the record embraces a more distinctive artistic direction. That willingness to take creative risks could well make it one of this summer’s breakout records.

Directed by Nono, the music video perfectly matches the track’s vibrant energy. It follows Timar through his neighborhood, surrounded by friends and family in a warm, carefree atmosphere, while Zeg P makes several appearances throughout the visual. Known for his striking work in French urban music, Nono has previously directed “Mi Amor” by Gims and XVI, “Madame” by Lyna Mahyem and Rohff, as well as “Mehlich” by GLK.
