July 24, 2026

Originally from Sarcelles, with roots in Melun, is part of a new generation of French rappers building their careers one step at a time. The artist is signed to Morning Glory, the label founded by Bellek, which has earned a reputation for developing emerging talent from the very beginning rather than waiting until artists have already broken through. This long-term approach has helped launch names such as Decimo, Yoko, Bag Jeune B, and, of course, Favé, who has quickly become one of the label’s flagship artists.

Several months ago, released his debut project “L’Assemblée”, a record that perfectly reflects his refusal to be confined to a single musical style. Moving between introspective tracks, melodic records and harder-hitting songs, the rapper showcases the different sides of his artistry, notably through the collaboration “À la mer” featuring So La Lune. Like many artists of his generation, Zé embraces an open-minded musical approach, blending influences while maintaining a cohesive artistic identity. Although no official sales figures have been released for “L’Assemblée”, now attracts nearly 213,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, highlighting his steady rise within the French rap scene.

Now, the rapper keeps that momentum going with “Mamacita”, a track that shares its title with a well-known song by Ninho but heads in a completely different musical direction. Bright, catchy and full of summer energy, the record has all the ingredients of a seasonal anthem.

delivers feel-good vibes with “Mamacita”

The instrumental is produced by Bellek and Skillano, while the mix is handled by Heer Beats. Although Morning Glory artists frequently collaborate with outside producers, the in-house trio remains at the core of the label’s signature sound. In recent weeks, Bellek, Skillano, and Heer Beats also produced “Drogué, jeune et riche” by Favé, while Bellek was also behind “Tant d’années” by Yoko. It is yet another example of the team’s central role in shaping Morning Glory‘s musical identity.

On “Mamacita”, the producers build a vibrant instrumental driven by Latin-inspired percussion, bright melodies and an infectious groove. Riding effortlessly over the beat, delivers confident bars with a laid-back attitude:

“Jamais j’mélange la haine dans mon gobelet
J’suis dans la guenda, un peu fâché
Le baveu est payé full casher
C’est pas ma came les crustacés
On force personne à leak”

Directed by Kespey, the music video perfectly captures the song’s sunny atmosphere. Shot on the streets of Paris, it follows strolling through the French capital alongside his partner. A regular collaborator of Morning Glory, Kespey is already familiar with the label’s visual identity. He previously directed the videos for “Conséquences” and “Chardonnay” by , as well as “Sativa 4” and “J’arrête pas” by Yoko. This artistic continuity helps reinforce Morning Glory‘s identity, both musically and visually.
