Xcusemee – Antidote

On September 22, Belgian artist, author, and composer Xcusemee released the music video for his single “Antidote.” In August, he had already released a new EP titled “Antidote (Preface),” consisting of five gentle and melodious tracks.

Xcusemee views his music as a book, hence the preface. Through this musical preface, he explores the different stages of the love cycle, each represented by a track. The journey begins with “Euphoria,” capturing the initial bliss of love. Then, we venture through the “Bitterness” of romantic disappointment, followed by “Lust,” where we abandon all else for the sake of pleasure.

The final phase of this EP brings a message of hope with the title “Renaissance.” This is the moment in the love cycle when we finally discover our true selves, what we desire, and most importantly, what we no longer want. You can explore this EP and the music video through the links below.
