In the late 2010s, Leto signed with REC 118 and unveiled the project “Trap$tar”. Despite signing with one of France’s biggest major labels, Leto was still far from living a lavish lifestyle. In an interview with Pascal Cefran from Mouv’, he admitted to having faced serious financial struggles at that time. However, over time, things started to improve: his debut album, “100 Visages”, was followed by a major breakthrough with the release of the third installment of “Trap$tar”. From there, everything started to fall into place.
The rapper has just released his new album “Life”, featuring a collaboration with Hamza. As part of this launch, he also dropped the single “Jamais on stresse”, a hard-hitting track from the project.
With Leto, “Jamais on stresse”!
The track’s production is crafted by a trio of talented beatmakers: Raed, Scvrla, and Rilmey. Raed and Scvrla have been closely collaborating with Leto for years, producing standout tracks such as “God Bless”, “Je crois qu’ils ont pas compris”, and “Gangsta et célèbre”, a collaboration with La Fouine. They also played a key role in the creation of “Sentiments billets de 100”. Meanwhile, Rilmey previously worked with HD La Relève on “C’est le binks Remix”. The beat, built around delicate guitar arpeggios, unfolds at a slow BPM, setting the perfect stage for the rapper’s melodic flow.
A luxurious setting for a compelling storytelling
Embracing pure egotrip, Leto showcases his rise to success and his new lavish lifestyle in the extravagant setting of Dubai:
“On n’avait pas un rond, nos vies tournaient en rond, j’te jure que c’est de très loin qu’on revient (Yeah)
J’aime pas trop son délire, j’crois qu’elle a pas les codes, on va lui faire une dinguerie”
The video, shot in an ultra-luxurious setting in Dubai, features the rapper surrounded by his close friends. The visuals were directed by No Colors Production, known for their work on videos like “WeLaRue 10” by DA Uzi, “Enlève tes pes-sa” by Leto, JKSN, Kaaris, and La Mano 1.9, as well as “Noir” by L2B Gang.
