A few weeks after the release of the music video “Scorsese,” the newly signed prodigies on the SPKTAQLR label make their comeback with “Havertz.” It’s a true immersion into Paris that the duo offers, starting in the Pigalle neighborhood at the Moulin Rouge. The dark and minimalist instrumental production, composed of a few high-pitched piano notes, is crafted by Lex Abraham.
The two rappers seamlessly blend into the setting and adapt to the instrumental, not failing to recount their experiences on the streets. Along the way, they pay homage to Kery James and his track “Deux issues” with the maxim “death or prison.”
