TH plays with Pokémon vibes!

TH hails from Bondy, in the Seine-Saint-Denis district—an area known for producing some of France’s most prominent rap talents, including Tiako (Tiakola and Diddi Trix) and the iconic Lartiste. Over the past few months, TH has been steadily releasing music through his Signal EP series, laying the foundation for a truly unique musical identity. This vision comes to life in his EP E-Trap, where he crafts a sound that stands apart from dominant trends like drill and urban pop.

In an interview with Booska-P, the rapper gave a precise definition of what E-Trap is all about: “To make a beat sound E-Trap, we add digital, airy, and spatial effects to the mixes.”

His latest release, Pokémon, is a dreamy single taken from the upcoming mixtape Algorythme, set to drop on April 18. The track offers full immersion into the E-Trap universe, where expansive and atmospheric soundscapes take center stage.

The production is handled by Banger Melody and Farid Bourimech. Banger Melody, who has previously worked with Niro—notably on the Sâle môme project—seamlessly adapts his craft to the aesthetic of E-Trap. The result is an ethereal, immersive instrumental that perfectly complements TH’s sharp and evocative lyrics.

In this track, the artist delivers a raw yet poetic love story, blending thug life energy with romantic imagery through vivid and relatable punchlines:

“Love is like a rollercoaster, like the Misano circuit
She looks so fine with her Tokyo-style haircut
The sunset looks amazing from the hills of Rio”

The music video embraces a minimalist aesthetic. Shot against a grey, white, and black backdrop, it oscillates between surreal visuals and scenes of the artist performing directly to the camera. This clean yet thoughtful direction amplifies the dreamy feel of the song. True to his artistic approach, TH pays close attention to every detail, ensuring visual, sonic, and thematic harmony throughout the piece.

SCH set the standard with his JVLIVS trilogy, proving that music videos can become powerful narrative extensions of a project. TH seems to be following that path—offering his own take infused with digital dreams and urban melancholy.
