SDM pays tribute to his fans with “AVALM”!

SDM has established himself as a leading figure in the new wave of French rap. From the very beginning, he was already throwing a success party to celebrate the gold certification of his debut project, “Ocho”. In 2024, he made a powerful return with the album “ALVALM” (À la vie, à la mort), an ambitious project featuring Werenoi, Hamza, Josman, and Tiakola. In its first week, the album sold over 29,000 copies across all platforms. Within two weeks, it was officially certified gold.

During an appearance on France Inter, the rapper took part in a “portrait chinois” segment hosted by Léa Salamé. He revealed that his all-time favorite film is “Goodfellas” by Martin Scorsese, a true masterpiece of American cinema. He also expressed deep admiration for Patrice Lumumba, the revolutionary Congolese leader, who is often referenced in rap lyrics as a powerful symbol of resistance and dignity.

In the same interview, SDM offered a heartfelt “thank you” to his fans, to life itself, and to his close circle. That gratitude is fully embodied in “AVALM”, a visual recorded during his tour across France — a vibrant tribute to the people who support him.

The beat was produced by Boumidjal and Holomobb. Boumidjal, formerly part of the legendary duo Double X, left a strong mark on the French rap scene in the early 2010s. He regularly collaborates with Holomobb, a dynamic producer duo known for their sharp, powerful sound. Together, they recently worked with Rim’K and SDM on “Run”, as well as with Dinos and Zed on “Stacks”.

The track features a hard-hitting, uptempo beat that perfectly matches SDM’s machine-gun flow. Staying true to his roots, the rapper delivers unapologetically raw bars, taking direct shots at well-known media personalities and political figures.

“Man, what haven’t I done for the streets? (Buh)
F*** Cyril Hanouna and his little boyfriend Delormeau
Assassin generation, out all night in the Under Armour tracksuit (It’s real)”

And also:

“I remember back when we used to shout: ‘F*** Marine Le Pen,’ ashamed to be a racist (F***)
Feeling nostalgic, even though, financially, I won’t lie — life’s better now (Real talk)”

The video, directed by WBK, gives fans a genuine behind-the-scenes look at the SDM 2025 tour. Blending live footage, crowd energy, and intimate moments, it plays out like a love letter to those who have been riding with him from day one.
