Moha MMZ is “agoraphobic”!

Two years ago, Moha MMZ released the album “Euphoria”, featuring two remarkable collaborations: Zed from 13 Block and DTF, signed with QLF. In the span of two years, the artist has matured and is now back with a new track in a radically different style. Now, it’s the era of 2step for Moha MMZ, who has just delivered an exceptionally high-quality visual filmed in the streets of Tokyo.

Moha MMZ radically changes his style!

Agoraphobia, in its broadest definition, means “the fear of crowds”. The instrumental composition of this track is credited to Jack, as mentioned in the YouTube description.

An interesting detail is the involvement of sound engineer N.k.F, also known as Nicolas Feve. This engineer is behind the success of many artists, including the group PNL. His distinctive touch, marked by excellence and perfection, has defined his work for the past decade.

With the release of the first excerpt from his album “La Plage”, Moha MMZ completely changes his style with a striking 2step production. There is a lot of poetry in the flow of the notes, the lyrics, and the music video, whose cinematography oscillates between extreme blur and clarity.

Moha MMZ is “agoraphobic”!

The lyrics of this track have an existentialist tone. Moha MMZ expresses his feelings and introspective thoughts. Alone in the middle of the crowd, he confides: “There are many people I can’t see anymore, but I have trouble breathing when I’m in the crowd”. There is a real conceptual effort in this track.

The video was shot in Tokyo. It alternates between the bustling reality of the city and the fantasies of Moha MMZ (or rather his character), who ends the visual in a time capsule. Moha MMZ was part of the filming team along with Yonatan Griffon, who directed the documentary on urban neighborhoods “En bas du bloc”. Fehdi Bendjima also participated in the team; he have a character in the film “L’arche de Noé”, which will be released in theaters on November 22.
