Marlone – Allez, la vie est belle

Marlone, a rising young artist from Lyon, makes a strong impression with the release of his first EP titled “Allez, La vie est belle”.

Born in this culturally rich city, Marlone began his artistic journey at an early age, developing a passion for cinema, comic books, and music. His curiosity led him to explore various artistic horizons, eventually steering him towards musical creation.

At the age of 11, Marlone immersed himself in the world of music and learned Computer-Assisted Music (M.A.O), enabling him to create his first compositions.

His early songs, influenced by the realities of his daily life and neighborhood (La Guillotière), began to take shape at the age of 13. He quickly enriched his style with diverse musical influences, blending hip-hop, French variety music, and world music.

After obtaining his literary baccalaureate with a focus on applied arts, Marlone continued his studies at a film school in Lyon. However, music was never far away. A self-taught soul at heart, he developed a unique style, fusing rap, pop, and French variety. In 2021, he began sharing his creations on YouTube, quickly catching the attention of Testicules Records, a Parisian label.

His first single, “Failles”, released in 2022, marked a significant turning point, showcasing his ability to blend electronic and organic instruments to create music that is both dark and bright. Then came “Soum-Soum”, a single that features the melody of a famous Chilean song from the 60s, demonstrating his ability to blend cultural influences to create something unique.

On November 3, 2023, Marlone unveiled his EP, “Allez, La vie est belle”.
