Lyonzon unleashes a real “Tsunami”!

The collective Lyonzon has elevated this major French city to the status of a rap capital. Led by charismatic figures such as Ashe 22, the group quickly established itself as a reference in drill music. Long before this style gained widespread popularity in France, Gouap and his allies were already making waves with this raw and impactful sound, directly inspired by the Chicago drill scene spearheaded by Chief Keef. Today, Lyonzon comes together once again for an electrifying track, after several members have made their mark as solo artists.

Lyonzon unleashes a real “Tsunami”!

The instrumental for “Tsunami” is crafted by a trio of talented Lyon-based producers: Phazz, Gouap, and Sims3000. Gouap, hailing from the La Guillotière neighborhood, is one of the pillars of Lyonzon. Beyond his close collaborations within the group, he has also contributed to iconic freestyles such as “Arah 1 & 3”. Additionally, he has worked with renowned artists like Lala &ce and Freeze Corleone.

Meanwhile, Phazz has left his mark on the industry with standout productions for major artists such as Orelsan and SCH. He is also behind the apocalyptic instrumental for “L’odeur de l’essence”. For “Tsunami”, he delivers a dark, minimalist production that highlights the sharp flows of Lyonzon‘s members, elevated by a powerful chorus from Ashe 22.

Some punchlines stand out in particular, such as:

“Même à zéro, moi j’suis serein (Moi j’suis serein) / Tous les vendredis, samedis, les rats sont ronds (Ils sont khabat) / Nina j’l’accoste comme si j’vendais des Malboro”

and also:

“Goofy continue d’drop mais ses sons puent la merde, donc ok ouais j’le laisse dans le deuss’ / Lui, même pas sûr qu’il perce à trente piges, Wass il est dead, pour moi c’est le must.”

The music video, directed by 4real, perfectly captures the energy of the group. Between scenes at a boutique with their fans and dynamic concert footage, the visuals encapsulate the essence of Lyonzon. 4real is also behind impactful music videos for Rvzmo, such as “Focuss” and “Même endroit”.
