The Canadian rapper and Kekra join forces for a hard-hitting collaboration on the track “20 Benz”. Contrary to popular belief, Kekra stands out as one of the most internationally influential French artists. He proudly represented France on the remix of “Bendo Diaries” by Duchavelli, a collaboration bringing together talent from Australia, India, Albania, and, of course, France. Known for his unique artistic style, Kekra continues to make a lasting impression.
Lost and Kekra make a strong impact with “20 Benz”!
The instrumental composition, crafted by the talented Freaky, gives the track its powerful edge. This Haitian-Canadian beatmaker has closely collaborated with French and Belgian artists. He is notably behind hits like “Mucho Love” by Hamza, “Fahrenheit 451” by Alpha Wann, and “Nouvelles” by PLK. Like many contemporary productions, this track follows a dual structure: the first part is dark and distinctly drill, while the second part is more rhythmic, with an uptick in BPM.
Both rappers are known for their sharp punchlines. Lost delivers striking lines such as “Deux-trois anciens qui sont dans l’jail sont devenus schizophrènes / Ça fait tellement d’temps qu’ils sont là, j’me rappelle même plus d’c’qu’ils ont fait”, while Kekra responds with his unique style: “Lion indomptable de l’Atlas face aux huskies, smoke le reste comme keusti”.
The video, reflecting the dual nature of the track, is directed by the talented 2Tab. In a dark and intense atmosphere, the Canadian director brilliantly showcases the two rappers. 2Tab had previously collaborated with Lost on the track “OT” featuring Trappo.
