Leto: He ruined everything!

0

At the end of 2023, Leto released his third mixtape “Trap$tar”. Early in his career, when the mixtapes “Trap$tar” 1 & 2 were released, while he was still enjoying his signing with REC 118, Leto was not yet out of trouble. He told Pascal Cefran that he had even received visits from bailiffs at that time. Today, after several remarkable releases, including his collaborative album with Guy2bezbar, he is a PSO Thug rapper adorned with gold and platinum who unveils the third episode of the series he started at the beginning of his career.

Leto: From rags to riches!

A few weeks ago, the rapper from northern Paris released a posse cut with JKSN, Kaaris, and La Mano 1.9 titled “Enlève tes pe-sa”. Kaaris is rarely invited to play nice. The track is raw, rapped at the foot of the buildings that inspired all the housing projects in the Paris suburbs. Then, a song went viral on TikTok. It’s Leto, but it’s soft, ironic, and very tongue-in-cheek. This track is “Tout gâché”. In this song about a failed relationship, Leto plays the spin doctor of a relationship he humorously sabotaged, like a less toxic Kaza. The track, which has already made waves on TikTok, now has a visual that matches its vibe, elegant yet very cutting.

Leto: He ruined everything!

The instrumental composition of the track is crafted by MCL, Raed, and Scvrla. These three beatmakers are regulars in the Leto camp. Raed and Scvrla composed “God Bless”, from the artist’s latest album, as well as episodes 2 and 3 of “Mozart Capitaine Jackson”. This time, the tone is not rap. It’s a gentle melody that accompanies the romantic disaster the rapper tries to portray:

“Tell me why you’re pouting like that (Why you’re pouting like that)
Your love can’t live without this (Yeah, yeah)
Dolce Gabana, like in the 2Pac bandana days (2Pac bandana)”

and especially: “We were supposed to start a family, my darling, I ruined everything”

This is Leto as we are not used to seeing him. The visual, full of elegance and style, is directed by Cherif No Color. The director is behind many recent clips, including the latest posse cut by Leto with Kaaris, JKSN, and La Mano 1.9, the latest video by RK, and “ADN” by Guy2bezbar. Cherif is on the rise.
