L’Algérino makes a strong comeback following his summer hit “Roméo” with Soolking in 2024. This time, he ups the stakes by bringing together Alonzo and Franglish on a brand-new track titled “La Gari”. A true summer anthem, this sunny single immerses listeners in a vibrant atmosphere filled with positive energy and unabashed luxury.

No stranger to high-profile collaborations, L’Algérino previously turned heads with his standout performance on the iconic compilation 13 Organisé, orchestrated by Jul. Fans especially remember his memorable feature alongside Marseille’s rap legends on the classic track “Sous le soleil”.

It’s important to recall that L’Algérino, initially produced by Akhenaton, was among the first artists in Marseille, and indeed in France, to explore new musical horizons within the rap genre. In a recent interview with Mehdi Maïzi for the show “Le Code”, the artist revealed he faced strong resistance from a rap community that was skeptical about such innovations. He humorously recalls Rohff‘s famous punchline: “The R’n’B wave? I’d make it sing better in its bedroom.” He also mentions how, in the past, record labels and radio programmers had absolute control over a track’s success. Fortunately, the digital age has brought about greater creative freedom for artists.

The track, driven by a catchy production from JY Prod, immediately sets the tone for relaxation and celebration. This talented beatmaker has notably collaborated with Zamdane since the rapper’s early days, shaping hits like “Quand j’fume”, “Nil”, “Deadstar”, and “Green”. He also produced successful tracks for Soolking, such as “Lela” and “Sel3a”. With an irresistible guitar loop and a vibrant bassline, the production is undeniably engaging.

Basking in radiant sunshine, the trio showcases a laid-back yet stylish attitude, joyfully heralding the arrival of brighter days:

“Parlez-vous français? Didn’t mean to offend you (Ok)
She asks if I speak English, I reply: ‘My bitch is gay’ (Gay, gay)
Smoke on my hookah, babe, classy black style, you got it all babe”

Perfectly crafted for the summer vibe, the music video directed by Real Mrv and Black Anouar captures the artists in luxurious, sunny settings such as golf courses, upscale restaurants, and sun-drenched streets. Black Anouar is notably recognized for directing “11.04.2025” by Werenoi and “Pour nos ennemis” by Lacrim.
