Kofs has been building his career since the beginning by releasing rap albums and taking on film roles. The one who stole Garou’s voice and Naza’s body, according to the lyrics of his song “Cette année là,” started his career with the excellent “Chouf” and his EP “Kofs”. Since then, the artist has continued his career in film and has unveiled two albums, “Santé et Bonheur” and “Matrixé”. Recently, he has released the first episode of a freestyle series. With “Algérien fâché,” he pays homage to his country of origin.
The instrumental production of the track is signed by SMR. The beatmaker has worked with artists such as Jul, Kamikaze, and TZR. Here, he composes a rhythmic but not danceable track. Kofs, who has always had sharp lyrics, takes pleasure in delivering punchlines while mentioning all the major cities of Algeria. It’s a nod to his home country.
The music video, directed by Dimeh, is a journey through present-day Algeria. At the end of the video, Kofs pays tribute to Jul.
