On December 8th, Jul will unveil his album “La route est longue“. He has also just revealed the list of tracks on this album. A few years ago, the Marseille rapper was a guest on Mouloud Achour’s show “Clique“. The Canal+ journalist then told him that, during his vacations, amateur rappers had told him that he was making music “in the style of Jul.” As surprising as it may seem, Jul’s style, which gradually became Marseille rap, has found its place all over France and even in Europe. The project “La Route est Longue“ constitutes a true reunion of the jet set of French-speaking rap, notably with the presence of Alonzo on the track “La Fusion“, probably in reference to DBZ, Tiakola on “Miné sur Paname“, and finally “J’fais le plaisir de la zone“ with SDM.
