HDI MC: A Parisian Rapper with Heavy Influences, Rising to Power with “HARD LIFE”

Hailing from the suburbs of Paris, HDI MC has carved a solid musical identity in the French rap scene, drawing inspiration from icons like Tupac, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Eminem, NTM, and Gucci Mane. His passion for hip-hop took shape in 2008 when he began recording his first freestyles at the age of 18. His artistic journey reflects a deep commitment to his art and a constant desire to reinvent himself.

After marking his beginnings with two mixtapes and two EPs in his first rap group from 2008 to 2016, HDI MC made the bold decision to pursue a solo career. This transition led to the release of two solo mixtapes, “EXPLICIT LYRICS” in 2016 and “EXPLICIT LYRICS 2” in 2018, affirming his independence and artistic maturity.

The year 2020 was pivotal for HDI MC with the release of his street album “HARD LIFE”. This ambitious project, featuring 14 tracks, resulted from collaborations with renowned producers such as the American DJ Pain 1, known for his work with legends like 50 Cent, The Game, Rick Ross, and others, as well as French producer Rocktee. “HARD LIFE” stands out for its fusion of styles and impactful lyrics, available on all streaming platforms.

HDI MC is not only recognized for his solo projects but also for his successful collaborations. In 2018, he made a notable appearance on the compilation “Black Out” with the track “Born to Reign”. In 2020, he contributed to the compilation “Hold Up Part 2” with “Out of Reach”, and in 2021, he participated in the freestyle “Vécu 2” by rapper Kill Kill alongside 11 other rappers. More recently, in 2022, HDI MC marked his presence on “VIP Mixtape vol.3” by This Is Riviera with the track “EXPLICIT TECHNIQUE”.

The rise of HDI MC in the French rap scene is the result of a blend of diverse influences, unwavering determination, and undeniable talent. With “HARD LIFE” and his other projects, he continues to define his place in the music industry, while remaining true to his roots and inspirations.
