H-Rif and Shawass in “Citadel Sierra”!
Sitting before the desert, H-Rif and Shawass‘s track begins with cautious words exchanged. Then, the tempo picks up, and the two artists delve into their new wave rap. The musical composition of the song was created by Lil Chick, a beatmaker who is rumored to have collaborated with Madlib on a track for WestSide Gun. Available on Spotify, this track offers a variety of tone and flow, touching on personal and social themes.
The visual of the music video, captured under the scorching sun of the Bardenas Desert by HORS MAP FILMS, is striking. This director had previously worked with Shawass on his solo project, the track “Putain de film”.
