GLK and Gradur get introspective on Pure!

0

GLK is back with his brand-new single Pure, featuring the Sheguey from the 59, Gradur.
A few months ago, GLK embarked on an ambitious musical trilogy inspired by the legendary motto of the Roman legions under Caesar: Veni, Vidi, Vici.
With Veni and Vidi already released, fans are eagerly awaiting the final chapter, Vici.
This new single with Gradur could very well be a preview of what’s to come.
Known for his versatility, GLK excels in both raw, hard-hitting rap and melodic tracks. With Pure, he delivers an introspective performance, reflecting on his past and regrets.

The track’s production is crafted by Marcelino, a beatmaker who has previously collaborated with the artist, notably on Tijuana [99%].
He has also worked with Gazo on the track M.A.L.A and contributed to Kalash Criminel’s album Sélection naturelle.
The beat is built around a piano sample with a relatively slow tempo, creating an emotionally charged and melancholic atmosphere.

Both rappers open up, delivering a deeply personal performance.
GLK confesses:

Don’t worry, we love problems
We switch from love to hate
No more feelings in our buildings

While Gradur, on the same reflective note, murmurs:

Anyway, you’re here for interest (eh)
I know who will be there to bury me (eh)
I don’t even check the numbers anymore

The music video is visually striking, built around a unique concept: a scene where masked men stand in the background holding umbrellas, reinforcing the enigmatic mood of the track.
This artistic vision is brought to life by 10creation, a production company known for its work on Alpha by Djadja & Dinaz, Téci by Benab, and Maison d’arrêt by Hornet la Frappe and Maes.
