Favé Releases “Drogué, Jeune & Riche” from “Pleins Phares Pt. 2”

July 20, 2026

In 2025, Favé returned with « Pleins Phares », two years after the success of « Il le fallait ». Signed to Morning Glory, the label founded by DJ Bellek, the rapper has steadily established himself as one of the leading figures of France’s new rap generation. Over the past few years, the label has patiently built its identity by developing emerging talents such as Yoko, ZK, Décimo and Bag Jeune B. That long-term vision is now paying off, with Favé standing at the forefront of the movement.

Favé first broke into the mainstream thanks to the massive success of « Urus ». His debut project, « Il le fallait », sold nearly 10,000 album-equivalent units during its opening week. With « Pleins Phares », he posted a launch of nearly 5,000 units. While the figure falls short of his previous release, it confirms that he has secured his place among the most promising names in French rap. Unlike « Il le fallait », the album wasn’t driven by a breakout hit on the scale of « Urus ». Instead, Favé chose to deliver a more ambitious and diverse project, experimenting with different sounds while staying true to his artistic identity.

During a recent appearance on Grünt, Favé spoke about one of the key pillars of his creative process: the importance of his inner circle. That aspect had already been highlighted in the documentary « Favé, comme si c’était facile », released just a few weeks ago. The rapper explained that he simply cannot release a song without first playing it to his family and close friends. For him, genuine validation doesn’t come from streaming numbers or social media—it comes from the people closest to him. He also reflected on the tracks « Tout donner » and « Pleins Phares », two deeply personal songs that allowed him to open up emotionally. Looking back, he says he has no regrets about taking that more intimate approach.

Several months after the album’s release, Favé continues its rollout with the deluxe edition, « Pleins Phares Pt. 2 ». The reissue introduces the new single « Drogué, Jeune & Riche », a dreamy record that paints an honest portrait of a generation caught between excess, ambition and the illusion of success. Rather than preaching or judging, Favé simply documents the world around him with sincerity and emotional depth.

The track is produced by Bellek, Lusoneo, Skillano and Heer Beats. Four of Morning Glory‘s flagship producers joined forces around the label’s founder to craft the instrumental for Favé’s latest release. Although they don’t necessarily collaborate on every project, they have become key contributors to the label’s signature sound and play an essential role in shaping the musical identity of its artists.

Bellek and Lusoneo previously produced « Comme avant », featuring R2, as well as « Alabama Barker ». Meanwhile, Heer Beats produced « Conséquence » for , while Skillano was behind « Purple Tropicana », one of Yoko‘s standout tracks.

Musically, the production stays true to Favé‘s signature sound, heavily influenced by contemporary American hip-hop. Airy synth textures, minimalist drums and deep basslines create plenty of room for the rapper’s storytelling to shine. Rather than aiming for a straightforward summer anthem, the song favors atmosphere, emotion and introspection.

On « Drogué, Jeune & Riche », Favé reflects on his life as a young artist navigating fame, parties, addiction and personal struggles. Without glorifying or condemning that lifestyle, he delivers an honest and melancholic account of his reality:

“Baby, I’m high, young and rich, already dealing with professional problems.
Causing PTSD, mental damage.
I want you for the night, but you keep making the same mistakes.
Whether I’m reckless or not, I don’t care—I still take the risks.”

The music video, directed by Sponge Production, perfectly expands on the atmosphere of the song. Shot between a luxurious villa and lavish party scenes, the visual embraces elegance without falling into cliché. Its polished cinematography once again showcases the expertise of Sponge Production, a company that has become one of France’s fastest-rising music video studios, thanks in part to its recent collaborations with Kaaris.
