Favé is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new faces in French rap. Signed to Morning Glory, the label founded by DJ Belleck, he’s joined a rising roster that includes emerging talents like Jeune Bag B and Yoko from Sarcelles.
Hailing from the Val-d’Oise region, Favé began making music during the Covid lockdown. In 2023, he caught national attention with a high-profile collaboration on the track “No léché” alongside Gazo, Leto, and Kerchak—a platinum-certified hit that marked a pivotal moment in his career.
Now, Favé returns with the lead single from his debut album, titled “Il le fallait”. The track “Money Maker”, shot in the United States with high energy and cinematic flair, shows Favé sharpening both his visual and sonic identity.
Favé is, without a doubt, a real “Money Maker”.
The production is handled by the duo DJ Belleck and Skillano, longtime collaborators. Belleck, who helped elevate ZKR to new heights in recent years, runs Morning Glory with a commitment to quality that’s making waves across the French rap scene.
As for Skillano, he’s been on a prolific streak lately, producing standout tracks like “Européennes” for Decimo, “FTR” for Werenoi and Lil Tjay, and the bold “No Lack” for Favé. With its clean, US-inspired sound, the production on “Money Maker” hits hard and elevates Favé’s delivery.
On the lyrical front, Favé embraces his egotrip flair with sharp, self-assured bars:
“You can catch me eating near Porte de Montreuil (Porte de Montreuil)
Or dining at the starred chef’s, he’s the one greeting me (He’s greeting me)
I dodge all these sons of bitches, I know who’s watching me (Yeah)”
The music video matches the energy of the track. Shot in the U.S., it leans fully into American aesthetics. The visuals were directed by Arthur Keasy, an up-and-coming filmmaker who’s already delivered memorable videos such as “JEJE” by Niaks and Naza, “So Bad” by Leto, and “Wine Slow” by Franglish and Kalash.
