Favé drops the unreleased track “Alabama Barker”!

0

A few weeks ago, Favé unveiled “Pleins phares”, a project that further confirms his rise within the new generation. Driven by collaborations with Jolagreen23, Genezio, Timar, and SDM, the album follows a coherent artistic direction, staying true to his sound identity—blending jersey drill, trap, and melodic textures. As the flagship artist of the Morning Glory label founded by DJ Bellek, he quickly validated his impact with nearly 4,000 units sold in the first week, reinforcing his presence in today’s scene.

Building on this momentum, Favé surprises fans with “Alabama Barker”, an unreleased track absent from the original tracklist. A move that naturally fuels speculation around a potential deluxe edition, while keeping his audience fully engaged.

On this track, the artist embraces a more laid-back approach, balancing egotrip with light introspection. The visual, conceived as an immersion into his daily life, complements this atmosphere by capturing behind-the-scenes moments of an artist constantly on the move.

Staying true to the signature sound of Morning Glory, the production is handled by DJ Bellek, alongside Lusoneo. A well-established duo, they previously crafted tracks such as “Tout donner” for Favé, as well as “Oumar” and “Smarties” for Decimo. On this record, they are joined by Alan Ami and Mela. Based in Toronto, Alan Ami has notably worked with GLK and La Fève. The result is a smooth and accessible production, blending chill vibes with melodic sensibility, in a style reminiscent of rap caviar.

Favé delivers a sincere glimpse into his daily life:

“Des fois j’ai la mort quand j’suis devant l’cro-mi
Mais j’suis béni, j’vais pas serrer comme Kanye”

Before continuing in the same vein:

“J’la bousille despi’, elle s’taille, prend ses bagages
Elle est blonde, ressemble à Barker Alabama
Dans l’mal, j’étais dans l’mal
J’ai fait comme si tout était normal
Elle fait la choquée quand j’lui parle mal”

The video accompanying the track is directed by Adzelio, a rising name in the rap video scene. He has already made his mark with productions such as “Bail” by DTF, “Âme sœur” by Gally, and “Optimus” by Ashe22 and Jkorr, further cementing his place within the new wave of French rap.
