Capou, an artist born in Paris, has Franco-Senegalese origins. Formerly known as S-cap, he joined the Parisian collective LTF (Les Tontons Flingueurs) in 2014, alongside Lpee, M Le Maudit, Lasco, and Lesram.
His entry into the collective was announced in the mixtape LDA9Q II. With LTF, he participated in the release of several singles and contributed to the collective project “consécration” in 2018, titled “Interdit.” The following year, he embarked on his first solo EP, “Rosa Nera.”
In 2021, S-cap became Capou and celebrated this change by releasing a new EP titled “YORRO,” produced by 2.6.Z Music. Since then, the rapper from the 19th arrondissement has been releasing singles and mini-EPs, notably with the series “FRAGMENTS.” Capou is back with his new project “Uno Nueve,” a tribute to his beloved neighborhood.
In this EP, Capou collaborates with the instrumentalists and beatmakers of Jeune Gueule, with whom he has been working for several years. The former member of LTF reveals a narrative of his resourceful entrepreneur life, a daily routine filled with uncertainties, challenges, accomplishments, and love.
