AMK makes a bold entrance into the rap scene with his debut project “15”, a nod to Paris’s 15th arrondissement where he grew up. He’s now back with an ambitious new release: “Outsider Part 1: OUT”, featuring heavyweight collaborations with SDM, Dosseh and Dinos. Among the first visuals to be released is the one with Dinos and Dosseh, two leading artists from the SPKTAQLR label. Raw and razor-sharp, the track delivers a barrage of hard-hitting bars, cutting through the season’s flood of lighthearted summer hits.
AMK, Dosseh and Dinos form the “3 Lions”!
The production is handled by the duo Shayaa and Dibi. Shayaa is well-known for his work with Ninho on tracks like “Blue Story”, “Rich Porter”, “Bon qu’à ça”, and “Édouard Nahum”. He had already teamed up with AMK on the single “Thug”. This time, he delivers a minimalist, gritty, and heavy-hitting beat — the perfect foundation for street rap.
Each artist delivers their verse with intensity and precision. Dosseh sets the tone with a sharp opening line:
“Just like there’s only one Cannes Festival, there’s only one red carpet, no Croisette
I’m pragmatic, I see the world as it is, I come to wreck everything — straight outta physio.”
Dinos follows with his signature references. Known for his “Brother Mouzone Freestyle”, he once again tips his hat to “The Wire”:
“Stringer Bell on wiretap, making money every day
I show up like a killer, big boss, bandit all the way.”
AMK closes things out with a tight and cutting verse:
“Catch me at Porte de Châtillon, I know how to pick a lock
We eat amongst lions — never near the pigs on the block
Don’t wanna get caught by the cops, so I move shares after the check is dropped.”
The video, shot in black and white in a stripped-down studio setting, was directed by Sank Day N Night. The production company Day N Night, already known for standout visuals like “Magie” by MAES, “1,2,3 Soleil” by Naza, and “Chop” by Fresh, once again showcases its creative prowess.
