SDM and Hamza hit hard with Toka!

The production of this track is handled by the renowned Dany Synthé, one of the most respected beatmakers in France, equally skilled in both pop and rap. He’s behind major hits like “Sapé comme jamais”, which won at the Victoires de la Musique awards, as well as “Petite fille” by Booba, which helped usher in a new era of “urban song”. Here, the composition is filled with captivating melodies, driven by a Latin rhythm that gives the track its full intensity.

The lyrics focus on ego-tripping, with SDM stating: “We’ve known each other for years, I admit, I didn’t see this coming / I laid it all on the line, filling the table with trophies like Messi”, while Hamza fires back with an equally sharp punchline: “Jealousy has no face, kinda like the Tokarev / Already done, I repaint his face then light a cigarette”.

The video, a true aesthetic masterpiece, tells a dramatic story, skillfully playing with shifts in tone and color. Directed by the talented OWEN KASPARIAN and produced by Omar Films, it stands in line with other standout works, including the recently shot video for Max by the same director.
