Kaneki and Jey Brownie present “Niya/Time”!
The instrumental production of the track is signed by BLN Prod. This beatmaker has already contributed to compositions for artists like Gazo and Gambino La MG. He previously collaborated with Kaneki, notably on the track “Maison.” The BPM (beats per minute) are slow, and both Kaneki and Jey Brownie deliver a slow and skillful rap. As seen with DA Uzi in their recent freestyles “WeLaRue” and the latest “Fresh”, the composition takes a different pace halfway through, with a reggaeton beat replacing the initial slower rhythm. It’s a successful exercise in style.
The video, playing with shadows and lights, was directed by Bien Vu Prod, a production team that recently directed the latest video of Ben PLG, “Le Goût du Sel”, an outstanding social mural.
