Zkr, an artist from Roubaix, is signed to Morning Glory under the label of DJ Belleck. In an interview for the release of his latest project, Mode Opératoire Vol. 1, he emphasized the positive impact this has had on his artistic development. As summer reaches its peak, Zkr returns with a new single, “X-ADV”, which stands out with a distinctly different artistic tone compared to most of his previous tracks.

On Tidal, the composer “PVBLO” is credited for this track, although this mention is absent from the YouTube description. The track, rhythmic and engaging, incorporates influences from Marseille rap, a genre that is now spreading across Europe. Zkr, who usually leans towards darker sounds, as seen in the short film accompanying Mode Opératoire Vol. 1, showcases a different side of his talent here.
This track clearly positions itself as the rapper’s summer hit, with striking egotrip lyrics: “Ma life c’est un rodéo | En Y dans les hauts, les bas”.
The music video, shot in Morocco, was directed by Hustler Premium. It features Zkr moving through vast landscapes, adding a grand visual dimension to the track. The production company, particularly active at the moment, also directed Freestyle BMF #2 by Koba LaD as well as the latest video by Mayo.
