Timal has released the reissue of his album Ultimatum, featuring SDM, Leto, Gradur, Soolking, NSG, Boumso, and Badjer. To promote this new version of his project, the artist unveils the single Solide.
In an interview with Clique TV, the journalist mentions that Timal “is often late to the studio, but he works very fast”. This trait perfectly defines the rapper, born in the 93 but raised in the 77. He is described as a “incandescent rapper”, an energy he perfectly embodies in his latest music video, which is both explosive and powerful.
Timal remains just as “solid”!
The track’s instrumental composition is crafted by Olivier Ryon and Jeoffrey Dandy. The latter has been collaborating with Timal since the beginning and has notably composed the tracks Copilote, Ailleurs, Sale, Vida, and La 12. Olivier Ryon, on the other hand, produced Ounah for Timal and has also worked with Manny, particularly on the track 10 h 10.
The rhythmic and dynamic beat supports the rapper in a hard-hitting egotrip:
“It reeks of cops, they say ‘Don’t move,’ they know there’s dope to sell.”
Between egotrip and street talk, Timal imposes his flow with all the energy that defines him.
The visual for the track is directed by Hustler Game, a production company that has previously worked on Bad Game by CG6 and Key Largo, Guardia by Lartiste and Maes, as well as Ndrangheta by Niaks and Maes. In the video, Timal moves between luxury cars and urban landscapes, staying true to his universe.
