Soolking pays tribute to Messi in Que Miras Bobo!

We’re eagerly anticipating the return of Africa Jungle’s sacred child since the release of his project Sans Visa in 2022. A few weeks ago, Soolking dropped Carré OK in collaboration with Gims. These two heavyweights of urban music joined forces to deliver a dynamic and infectious track. Now, the rapper is making a powerful comeback with a brand-new single: Que Miras Bobo, a phrase famously used by Lionel Messi to taunt Wout Weghorst during a heated match in the World Cup.

With this explosive release, Soolking seems to be laying the groundwork for a spectacular return, potentially hinting at a new album.

The instrumental production is crafted by Voluptyk and Alban Chance. Voluptyk, a beatmaker from Affranchis Music, previously collaborated with Soolking on Casanova. Meanwhile, Alban Chance was behind the creation of Carré OK, Soolking’s previous hit featuring Gims. The production, infused with both pop and urban influences, is vibrant and impactful.
The rapper masterfully balances egotrip with finesse, never overdoing it:

“J’demande à Dieu qu’il nous pardonne avant qu’la vie nous abandonne (Hey, hey, hey) J’veux rien fêter, j’veux faire du yellow, j’ai pas le temps de dire “ti amo””

The music video, shot in iconic locations across Marseille, shifts between the Stade Vélodrome, the Vieux-Port, and the city’s vibrant nightlife. With stunning visuals, it highlights Soolking’s life as an artist, under the direction of Digital Nak and the cinematography of Nadym Ben Bakar. This creative duo has also worked on projects like Batmobile by Guy2Bezbar, Fame by Green Montana and Zed, as well as the fiery collaboration between Dinos, Jolagreen23, and La Mano 1.9 titled D-Block Afrique.
