Following the success of Fruit du démon (2018) and Sans Visa (2022), Soolking continues to expand his artistic vision with Africa Jungle Part 1, released in February 2025. The title is a clear nod to his original collective, Africa Jungle, a group from the Maghreb that first propelled him into the spotlight.
According to his label Universal, Fruit du démon sold nearly 600,000 copies worldwide, while Sans Visa reached around 360,000 units. A vocal figure for political expression, the artist has used his music to speak out about Algeria, especially through tracks like “Guérilla” and “Liberté”, both strong political statements within his catalog.
During an appearance on the French show Le Code, he shared his take on what makes a hit:
“To make a hit, you have to sing… Drake’s biggest songs are sung… Damso’s biggest tracks are sung…”
Blending street-driven flows with raï-inspired melodies—his unmistakable signature—Soolking once again proves his mastery of hybrid sounds.
He also dropped the single “C’est fort”, in collaboration with Ninho, one of the most bankable names in French rap. Ninho ranked among the top three most-streamed artists on Spotify in both 2023 and 2024.
Soolking and Ninho team up on “C’est fort”!
The beat was produced by Voluptyk, a longtime collaborator under Affranchis Music—Soolking’s label. Voluptyk is already known for his work on hits like “Suavemente” and “Casanova”. Together, they deliver a summer-ready track with breezy vibes and catchy production:
“There’s nothing wrong here, we don’t care about the rest, the ghetto makes me shine (makes me look fly)
I just wanted money, not to make others jealous—it’s all in the past (just fake stuff)”
Ninho follows with a confident, self-assured egotrip verse:
“I dropped a beast, I could scratch it up, the car’s in my name
We buy stuff on the spot, no time to even try—I need a few more K just for myself”
The music video—produced by Digital Nak and directed by Nadym Ben Bakar (who also helmed “Que miras Bobo!”)—places Soolking and Ninho in a sun-soaked villa, a vibrant visual metaphor for artistic success and summer luxury.
