Roga Roga and Yorssy soar with Dany Synthé on “Plus Haut”!

Roga Roga, an iconic figure of the group Extra Musica, is a living legend of Congolese rumba. Hailing from Congo-Brazzaville, he has left an indelible mark on generations with his unique style and undeniable charisma. Now, he makes a powerful comeback with an explosive collaboration alongside Yorssy and the production maestro Dany Synthé.

Yorssy, on the other hand, made his breakthrough in Nouvelle École. Despite being eliminated before the final, his talent and determination left a lasting impression. While still in the competition, the rapper from Orléans shared his journey with the publication New Stories:

“I started rapping at around 14 years old. But it only got serious when I was 16 or 17. In my mind, music has always been above everything else.”

Now, he achieves a major milestone by collaborating with a true icon of Congolese rumba on the track “Plus Haut”, an ambitious project elevated by the magic touch of one of the top French hitmakers.

Roga Roga and Yorssy soar with Dany Synthé on “Plus Haut”!

The production and musical arrangement of this track are masterfully crafted by Dany Synthé. This musical genius has shaped numerous hits, including “Sapés comme jamais”, the chart-topping anthem by Gims and Niska, which earned recognition at the prestigious Victoires de la Musique. This award symbolizes a shift in the French music scene, which has long been hesitant to embrace urban music.

But Dany Synthé didn’t stop there. He also crafted the emotionally powerful track “Petite Fille” for Booba, a pioneering song that, along with “Arc-en-ciel”, laid the foundation for introspective and melodic rap in France. Now, with “Plus Haut”, he pushes boundaries once again, blending afrobeat with Congolese rumba, creating an electrifying fusion of power, tradition, and modernity.

On this track, Roga Roga embodies the role of an inspiring mentor, while Yorssy asserts himself with a striking flow and infectious energy. A winning bet, as the track has already amassed nearly 420,000 views in just a few days

A Visual Masterpiece by William Thomas
The music video, directed by William Thomas, is a stunning visual showcase. True to his signature style, he seamlessly blends vibrant party scenes with raw urban aesthetics, capturing the essence and energy of the track. The cultural fusion is evident in every frame, highlighting the diversity and richness of Roga Roga and Yorssy’s world.

"We lost time, but I made money
So now she wants the libala (oyoki yango ya bien)
The accused was wrong, I wanted to acquit her
But she says I’m matata"

A master of striking visuals, William Thomas has an impressive track record. In recent months, he has directed “Holà Que Tal” by Jul, “Mafiosa”, and most recently, the latest music video by Houari, “C’est de la cali”. With “Plus Haut”, he delivers yet another remarkable visual masterpiece.
