Niro and Gazo are no longer “Plus pareil” (the same)!

Time to settle the score! Niro makes a powerful comeback with his new project “Hayati – Episode 1: Du sable et du sang”. Nearly two years have passed since the release of “Sale môme”, a project that earned him a gold certification. During that time, the artist from Blois remained relatively silent. Known for his razor-sharp pen and impeccable flow, Niro has always stayed true to his craft. As a prelude to this new chapter, he already dropped “Assimilé”, a track with a gritty urban western vibe that highlights his lyrical precision.

Now, he unveils the video for his latest collaboration with Gazo on the track “Plus pareil”. Since the release of “KMF”, Gazo has reached new heights. The artist, who once considered quitting music before “DRILL FR”, went from an underground favorite to the undisputed face of the drill movement—and eventually a national rap star. Following his joint album with Tiakola, he’s gradually shifted away from pure drill and jersey sounds. Let’s not forget: between “Drill FR” and “KMF”, he promised to deliver “at least one non-drill track” in an upcoming project. Promise kept—this track included.

The fusion of these two distinct worlds results in “Plus pareil”, a standout song from “Hayati”, the latest release by Niro, which dropped last Friday.

According to credits on Spotify and Genius, the instrumental was composed by Naifos, SS10, TizzProd, and Theo Weil. Naifos is best known for crafting “Grands Ensembles” for Ninho, and also produced “Marbella” for Béné. SS10, on the other hand, has already worked with Niro on tracks like “Khalini” and “Everyday”, both featured on this same project. The production blends melodic intensity and lyrical force with precision.

In their verses, the two rappers offer a raw reflection on mindset and disillusionment:

“Conflicts never last—just like marriages.”

The music video, shot in a raw, stripped-down warehouse setting, was directed by Baebymama and produced by Digital NAK. The visual brings Niro and Gazo face to face in a minimal yet gripping aesthetic. Baebymama previously directed “Assimilé” for Niro, as well as “Nouvelle R” for Guy2bezbar, “Jolagreen23” and Green Montana, “Saturday” by Favé, and “Bébé à moi” by Guy2bezbar.
